About Me
My name is Dani Jones and I was born and raised in Watson, LA. I graduated from Live Oak High Scholl in 2007 and attended Southeastern Louisiana where I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor's in Business Management. I still live close to Watson in the nearby town of Walker, LA. I’m a wife to Gat Jones and mom of two, Avery and Bryce! Avery will be 12 next month💗Bryce just made 1 in February💙My joy in life comes from making others around me happy and by making them feel like they are the most special person to be around. I want my clients leaving our sessions with a renewed love for one another and confidence knowing I will deliver their images with the same care and love they deserve.
My WHY in choosing photography, specifically births, newborns and family photography comes from losing my older brother in 2008. I have so many wonderful memories that are alive in my head but I'm miss being able to hold those memories in my hand. My mom recently told me she remembers sitting in the doctors office with my brother and staring at his hands. In that moment, she realized that up until that then she had never taken the time to look at his hands. What a simple thing? Looking at your babies hand. As your baby grows older, it's going to be the simple things, like looking at their hands, that you remember. Let's get those memories!
I have a full time job while also jumping headfirst into photography!! As a wife and mom we often lose our own identify, but photography has allowed me to find myself again and is my creative outlet. I love my husband and kids to pieces!!!! But my love for photography is on a different level. It’s on the level of self-love. In order for me to be the best wife and mom, I need to be the best version of myself and that’s exactly what photography is allowing me to do🥰
As a photographer, my dream is specializing in Birth and Fresh 48 photography! The moment new life is brought into this world is unlike any other moment you will experience. To be able to let those moments live on forever in print for moms and dads is a gift that will forever give back. The pure love and joy melts this mommas heart!❤️ I only wish I had chosen to have someone capture that time for us👣👶🏼My friends are more like family and I love that our kids now out number all of us adults. My heart grows a little more every time I see my kids play with my friends kids! Along with my husband, my friends support this path my life has taken and I cannot thank them enough!

-I'll take grilling and sitting outside over an expensive restaurant any day.
